I do a lot of mixed drinks for small get-togethers and the shakers that I use get cold real fast and sometimes leak. This shaker is sealed and insulated, so when mixing the drinks, I do not get any leakage, nor does it get cold in my hands. I love this thing.
I have quite a few cocktail shakers of different styles and sizes; boston shakers, french, etc. Others have reported they have a good seal and quite simply do not deliver. Especially if needing to do a dry shake to emulsify an egg white. This one seals well, is easy to open with the screw action and, as it is double-walled/insulated, I no longer have to suffer with a frozen hand after shaking a cocktail.
The measures inside the top are nice touch for some cocktails as well. Very pleased.
This product is good value. Nicely finished metal. Seal is tight with no leaks even with vigorous shaking. It screws together so easy to loosen both the middle section and the cap. It comes with a replacement o-ring seal for the middle section but the caps seal is mostly just the tightness of the screw down.
